RESOURCE MOBILIZATION AND STRATEGIC PLANNING
Resource Mobilization, Sustainability and Strategic planning; these were three key areas of focus when designing experiential learning activities for a members of a Task Force whose main objective is to create awareness and mobilize resources to fight Leprosy in every district .
Since the group comprised of both Sinhala- and Tamil- speaking leaders from every district, an effort was also made to help them to relate to each other more closely, identify common areas and learn to work together despite the language barrier.
At the end of the training, the group members had identified various resources available to them in their districts, had identified obstacles and created plans to overcome them, and strategized on achieving sustainable momentum. All through experiential learning!
