On the 30th of November, the Sanctuary House conducted an experiential learning forum titled “Change” to address environmental and social issues. After a boat ride into Muthrajawela wetland the participants had an animated discussion over breakfast before exploring the Sanctuary House reforestation area.
Several possible initiatives and action steps focusing on the environment were discussed. In Addition one of the participants challenged us to address the issue of sexual harassment of women and tourists by Sri Lankan men and schoolboys as well.
