Sanctuary House hosted 58 middle school students and 5 teachers from Elizabeth Moir School for a BREAKTHROUGH TEAMBUILDING AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAM for the 5th consecutive year.
The 3 days were filled with enjoyable sessions on the Low Ropes Course and Portable activities, life skills track which included Archery, Air Rifling and a Plane crash scenario which required the group to transport their injured, set up a tent and boil water after lighting a fire using a flint was also appreciated by all. The third session was learning to kayak in the waterways. This has always been a highlight. The kayaking regatta competiton and raft building and sailing competition finale helped the students to implement the lessons learnt.
